Explaining the transition from Baptist Health Pediatric Therapy to Progressive Pediatric Therapy.
Progressive Pediatric Therapy is honored to partner with Baptist Health to help ensure children and families continue receiving the therapy services they need during this transition.
We understand that therapy is more than appointments. It is built on trust, relationships, and the progress your child has worked so hard to achieve. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible by helping children continue therapy with the therapist they know whenever possible, at the Progressive Pediatric Therapy location that is most convenient for your family.
Our priority is to help your child continue with the therapist they know and trust whenever possible while receiving care at the Progressive Pediatric Therapy location that works best for your family.

To make this process as easy as possible, we have a dedicated Family Transition Coordinator available to answer questions, assist with paperwork, explain the transition process, and help guide your family through each step.
The coordinator will be available on site at Baptist Health City West during the following times.
Dates: Mondays 7/27, 8/3, 8/10, 8/17
Times: 3-5pm
If you are unable to visit during these scheduled times, that’s okay. The transition process is outlined below, and Baptist Health is working closely with Progressive Pediatric Therapy to help make this as seamless as possible. Baptist Health is aware of the documentation needed for your child’s transition and will work with our team to provide the necessary paperwork. Our goal is to make this process as simple and stress free as possible for your family.

We are committed to:
Helping your child continue with their current therapist whenever possible.
Scheduling therapy at the Progressive Pediatric Therapy location that is most convenient for your family whenever possible.
Continuing aquatic therapy services for children currently receiving aquatic therapy.
Minimizing interruptions in your child’s care.
Coordinating insurance verification and authorizations.
Keeping you informed throughout every step of the transition.
Request a copy of your child’s signed therapy evaluation(s) and discharge letter from Baptist Health.
These documents will help us continue your child’s care with as little interruption as possible.
Complete the Progressive Pediatric Therapy New Patient Registration Forms.
Our team will verify your insurance benefits, obtain any required authorizations, and coordinate scheduling.
Once insurance authorization has been approved, your child’s therapy will begin on August 24, when Baptist Health is no longer providing pediatric therapy services. Our team will work to schedule your child at your preferred Progressive Pediatric Therapy location and, whenever possible, with their current therapist.

In many cases, no. If we receive your child’s current signed evaluation from Baptist Health and it remains valid under your insurance requirements, a new evaluation may not be necessary. If one is required, our team will let you know and help schedule it as quickly as possible.
Our goal is for your child’s therapy to continue without unnecessary interruption. Services with Progressive Pediatric Therapy are expected to begin on August 17, when Baptist Health is no longer providing pediatric therapy services. Once all required documentation has been been received and any necessary insurance authorization has been approved, our team will contact you to finalize your schedule and begin treatment.
Whenever possible, yes. Our goal is to help children continue with the therapist they already know and trust. Availability may vary based on therapist schedules and clinic locations, but preserving continuity of care is one of our highest priorities.
We will make every effort to maintain your current therapy schedule. While exact appointment times cannot always be guaranteed, our scheduling team will work closely with your family to find appointment times that best meet your needs.
Your financial responsibility will continue to depend on your insurance plan, including deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. Our team will verify your benefits before services begin and explain any costs you may be responsible for.
Our goal is to schedule therapy at the Progressive Pediatric Therapy location that is most convenient for your family while also considering therapist availability and continuity of care.
