Bio

Ms. Stephanie is a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant who was born and raised in Ecuador. She began her studies with the goal of becoming a preschool teacher, earned her AA from Palm Beach State College, and then transferred to Florida Atlantic University, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics along with a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language.

After moving to the United States in 2017, Stephanie decided her true calling was to become a speech therapist, and she has since completed prerequisite coursework toward a master's degree in Communication Disorders. As a bilingual Spanish speaker, she loves working with bilingual children and observing how a child's native language can shape second-language development.

Stephanie's goal is to treat children with speech and language disorders across a variety of settings and communities as she continues her education toward becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist.
