Bio

Ms. Romie is a Staff Occupational Therapist at our Boca Raton clinic with experience across outpatient, early intervention, and school-based pediatric settings.

She treats children with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, and feeding difficulties, and her training includes Handwriting Without Tears, PAMs/NMES, sensory integration, Therapeutic Listening, Zones of Regulation, reflex integration, and aquatics. Romie has also presented publicly on sensory processing versus behavior in school settings and regularly participates in OT-specific discipline meetings, always keeping evidence-based practice at the center of her care.

Romie earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from Florida International University (FIU). She is fluent in English and French, speaks Creole, and is conversationally proficient in Spanish, allowing her to connect with families in their native languages. She loves using music as a calming, therapeutic tool, and outside of work she enjoys traveling, learning about history and different cultures, and following all things space.
