Ms. Rissa, CF-SLP

Bio

Ms. Rissa is a Speech-Language Pathologist completing her Clinical Fellowship (CF) year at Progressive Pediatric Therapy's Lake Worth clinic. Born in the Philippines and raised in Philadelphia, she recently relocated to South Florida.

Rissa is an AAC specialist and is trained in the Feeding AEIOU approach. She brings experience working with both children and adults across a diverse range of needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, articulation and phonological disorders, expressive and receptive language delays, and neurocognitive deficits.

Rissa earned her bachelor's degree in Communication from La Salle University and her Master's degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Emerson College in 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys the movies, baking, and spending time with family.
