Bio

Ms. Margie is the Rehabilitation Director at Progressive Pediatric Therapy's Lake Worth clinic, bringing more than 20 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist across school, hospital, and private practice settings.

As a Feeding Master Clinician and AAC Master Clinician, Margie specializes in children with both medical and behavioral feeding difficulties, nonverbal children who need alternative means of communication, Autism, and language disorders affecting academic performance. She is DIR Floortime trained/certified and PROMPT trained, certified in Feeding Beckman Oral Motor techniques, and received hospital-based feeding training as well as training at the Marcus Intensive Feeding Program at Emory in Atlanta. Her AAC expertise includes programming across multiple device systems. She also mentors fellow therapists, having taught within PPT's ELC series and alongside a team at Keiser University for PPT4Ed.

Margie earned her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Florida State University in 2005. She is bilingual in Spanish and has basic ASL skills, allowing her to connect with a wide range of families. Outside the clinic, she enjoys building a strong team culture, cooking, and making handmade cards for special people and occasions.
