Bio

Ms. Manuela is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Speech and Language Pathology Assistant who has been part of Progressive Pediatric Therapy for nearly eight years.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 2017 and went on to complete a semester of coursework in audiology and hearing disorders, studying diagnosis, treatment, and aural rehabilitation strategies. She holds her ASHA-issued C-SLPA credential, a nationally recognized certification reflecting a high standard of practice for speech-language pathology assistants.

Manuela has experience treating a wide range of speech and language disorders, including expressive and receptive language disorders, fluency disorders, and articulation/phonological disorders, as well as working with children with hearing disorders, Autism, Down Syndrome, and Auditory Processing Disorder. She enjoys collaborating with the occupational and physical therapy team to take a multidisciplinary approach, and she strives to make therapy fun through engaging, evidence-based activities for children of all ages.
