Bio

Ms. Karla is a Staff Occupational Therapist at our Boca Raton clinic who believes in a family-centered approach to care.

She has experience treating autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, sensory processing disorder, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays, using a blend of sensory integration, DIR/Floortime, and neurodevelopmental treatment approaches. Karla is also PAMs/NMES certified and trained in Zones of Regulation and Feeding AEIOU, and she often incorporates music and movement into her therapy sessions. She has also co-led teacher training sessions alongside a speech therapist.

Karla earned her Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and traveling.
