Bio

Ms. Kara is a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) at Progressive Pediatric Therapy's Boca Raton clinic.

Kara is a feeding and AAC specialist and is trained in the Feeding AEIOU approach. She has shared her AAC expertise beyond the clinic as a guest on a podcast episode focused on Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and she is always seeking new, holistic ways to support the children and families she treats.

Kara earned her Bachelor's degree in Allied Health Sciences with an emphasis in Speech-Language Pathology from Grand Valley State University in 2019, and her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Eastern Michigan University in 2021. Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors and reading.
