Bio

Ms. Deanna is a Speech-Language Pathologist who joined the Progressive Pediatric Therapy team in 2025.

Deanna is trained in Gestalt Language / Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), holds a Certification in Autism Spectrum (CAS), and is a feeding and AAC specialist. She has worked across schools, private practices, and skilled nursing facilities with clients ranging from newborns to adults over 80, supporting children and families affected by Autism, Down Syndrome, traumatic brain injury, and more. She favors a play-based, team-oriented approach, believing therapy works best as a collaboration between families, children, and other professionals.

She is conversational in Spanish at an intermediate level. Outside the clinic, Deanna has two dogs, enjoys live music and concerts, and loves spending weekends exploring new places with friends since her move to Florida from the Northeast.
