Bio

Born in the Philippines and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Rissa is an SLPA who recently relocated to Boynton Beach. She attended La Salle University for her Bachelor's Degree in Communication and is currently in graduate school for her Master's Degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders. Rissa is passionate about working with children and creating meaningful relationships with them and their families. She has experience working with adults and children with a diverse background in Autism, Down Syndrome, articulation/phonology disorders, expressive/receptive language delays and disorders, and neurocognitive deficits. Rissa is also passionate about learning and hopes to gain more insight and skills working with a multi-disciplinary team, including parents/caregivers. Outside of work, Rissa loves to go to the movies and spending time with her family. Rissa can usually be found at the mall (Town Center Boca or Palm Gardens Mall) taking a stroll during the weekends if not at home watching shows. She also loves baking and hopes to explore more of her new home.
