Aimee Brueck is a pediatric physical therapist who has been practicing for more than 15 years. She graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida. She has worked in a wide variety of settings nationwide, including hospitals, private clinics, and home care. She has been an Evaluator for Early Intervention since 2005. She is certified in Neurodevelopmental treatment, trained in the Therasuit Method for intensive physical therapy, and trained in protocol for Constraint Induced Therapy for children with Cerebral Palsy. She provides evaluations, treatment, and consultation for infants and children of all ages. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Association of Pediatric Therapists. Aimee is enthusiastic about children and prides herself on being able to make a difference in the lives of her patients and their families. She is specialized in working with children who have neuromotor issues including cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, genetic disorders, premature infants, general gross motor and developmental delays, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, intermittent toe walking, and torticollis. She has taken extensive continuing education courses in baby treatment, infant massage, kinesiotaping, torticollis evaluation and treatment, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, bracing, aquatic therapy, and early intervention training.

Aimee has made numerous presentations to new mothers and teachers to help them understand child development and the importance of “tummy time”.

Mary began her career in pediatric physical therapy in 1983, and has worked with children of all ages including young adults who have grown up with a variety of developmental disabilities, including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, genetic disorders, muscular dystrophies, spinal muscular atrophy, brachial plexus injury, and torticollis. Mary has worked in rural Jamaica as a Peace Corps Volunteer, Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla NY, The Arc of Palm Beach County, and the Paley Limb Lengthening Institute in West Palm Beach. Her experience includes school based therapy, early intervention, aquatic therapy, neuro-muscular/functional electrical stimulation, 24-hour postural care, whole body vibration, orthotics, serial bracing, and adaptive seating and mobility.  Mary is certified as an Assistive Technology Practitioner through the Rehab Engineering Society of North America and is a level 3 Trainer in 24-hour Postural Care.  She also teaches pediatric classes and labs for DPT students, and continuing education webinars and classes for licensed therapists.  Mary and her husband have 4 grown daughters, and together they enjoy hiking, the beach, cooking, and sharing family time whenever possible.

Jenny has worked with children of various ages since 1994 after graduating from St Louis University with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and completed her master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1998. Jenny has practiced physical therapy in various settings including hospitals, home, schools, and aquatics. Jenny enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses and age ranges. She has much experience in treating premature infants, children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, torticollis, autism, and early intervention through Early Steps. Jenny makes much effort to educate parents and caregivers in maximizing a child’s function throughout daily routines. She also explores home and community activities that are able to be adapted to meet a child’s needs. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and biking. She also has a passion for CrossFit and sharing this with children of all abilities.
Alyssa Fung PT

Alyssa graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2021 from the University of St. Augustine after earning her Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Dance minor from the University of Washington. She is very passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities. Her experience includes the treatment of diagnoses such as Spinal Cord Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Torticollis, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pediatric Vestibular Disorders, Developmental Delay, and a variety of orthopedic injuries. She is excited to join the team at Progressive Pediatric Therapy and continue learning alongside all the other amazing therapists! Alyssa has recently relocated to South Florida, and outside of work she can be found exploring the beaches and food!

Ann graduated from Cebu Doctor’s University in the Philippines. She worked with both pediatric and adult patients in the Philippines. She moved to Florida in 2007 and focused mainly on pediatric patients working on intensive therapy using the Therasuit for two years. She also has experience as a school therapist for pre-school aged children with developmental disabilities. She finished the NDT certification course held in Plantation, Florida and has been certified since 2014. She specializes in children with neurological impairments such as Cerebral Palsy, Chromosome Abnormalities and also has a wide range of experience for other pediatric diagnosis from birth to teen. 
She loves spending time with her kids at home, baking goodies and learning how to sew.
Eden PT

Eden graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy In 2022 from the University of Miami after obtaining a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Exercise Physiology and minor in Psychology, at Florida State University. Throughout all her endeavors she has always been passionate about working with the pediatric population and has spent her clinical rotations throughout her doctorate education working directly with kids of various ages and diagnoses. Eden’s pediatric experience includes Cerebral Palsy, Torticollis, Developmental-delay, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Idiopathic Toe walking, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Rhett’s Syndrome, and variety of neurodevelopmental disorders. She is excited to grow and learn as a clinician while working alongside passionate and knowledgeable therapists at Progressive Pediatric Therapist.

As her result of her family originating from Israel, Eden fluently speaks both English and Hebrew. Outside of work, Eden loves outdoor activities, painting, listening to live music, playing basketball, and enjoying quality time with her loved ones and friends. 

Erica Koester PT

Erica has been a licensed Physical Therapist since 2004. She graduated with a Dual degree – Bachelors in Health Science and Masters in Physical Therapy in 2004 from Touro College of Health Sciences, Bayshore, NY. She returned back to Touro College to receive her Transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy, graduating in 2007. Prior to receiving her Physical Therapy degrees, Erica was a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist graduating from The New Center College of Wholistic Health, Syosett, NY, in 1997. In January 2018, Erica made the move to Florida.

Erica has worked as a physical therapist in a variety of settings which include pediatric therapy in school based, early intervention, and home care. She is trained in John Barnes Myofascial Release and enjoys using these techniques to improve function for the populations she treats. Erica’s pediatric experience includes Autism Spectrum disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Developmental Delays, Idiopathic toe walking, Spina Bifida, Torticollis, and rare genetic diseases.

Faith graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2023 from Stony Brook University in New York after earning her Bachelors of Arts in Dance from Florida Southern College. Her love for pediatrics began to grow throughout her DPT program. This passion was confirmed after working directly with children in her clinical rotations. She grew up with an older brother with several neurological disabilities and has a deep understanding of the emotional impact disability has on the individual and their family. She is passionate about providing quality care and maximizing potential of her patients.She is excited to grow and gain knowledge as a Physical Therapist alongside an incredible team of therapists at Progressive Pediatric Therapy.  Outside of work, Faith enjoys dancing, reading, going to the beach and spending time at Disney World!

Jackie graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2023 from the University of South Florida. She earned her Bachelors degree in Health Science, with a concentration in Exercise Science, from Florida Atlantic University. From an early stage, Jackie’s passion for pediatrics became evident, driven by her genuine desire to aid children and their families in reaching their goals. She has experience working with a wide spectrum of conditions, including but not limited to Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Traumatic Brain Injury, and an array of neurodevelopmental disorders. Embracing the philosophy of the ‘power of play,’ Jackie firmly believes in integrating play as a pivotal component of all therapeutic interventions. Beyond her professional endeavors, Jackie is deeply committed to giving back to her community, as exemplified by her dedicated volunteer work. Her experiences include programs such as Camp No Limits, Shaka Soul Surfers, Surfers for Autism, and the BRIDGE Pro-bono Clinic, among others. Jackie is thrilled to be joining the Progressive Pediatric Therapy team and is excited to get to work alongside such knowledgeable and passionate clinicians. On weekends, Jackie can be found surfing with her family, or mountain biking with her dog, Goose.

Karen graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May of 2023 after earning her Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a minor in Business, all from Nova Southeastern University. She has always known from a young age that she would work with children and this was further confirmed after interning with Progressive Pediatric Therapy in her final year of the DPT program. Her pediatric experiences included many different settings and diagnoses including Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, and a variety of orthopedic injuries and diagnoses. She is passionate about educating her patients and their parents to empower their growth and learning for continued improvements even outside of therapy. She is excited to continue to learn and grow herself with the Progressive Pediatric Therapy family and learn from such a close community of interdisciplinary colleagues. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time at home with her husband and cats, snorkeling, traveling, painting, yoga, and weight training.

Shaelyn PT

Shaelyn graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, Davie, Florida in 2022 and has a Bachelors in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL. Shaelyn played competitive Fastpitch Softball from 4-18 and now has been coaching for 10+ years. She is very passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities. Her experience includes treating diagnoses such as Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Torticollis, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Idiopathic toe walking, and a variety of orthopedic injuries. She is excited to continue to grow as a clinician while working alongside the passionate and knowledgeable therapists at Progressive Pediatric Therapy! Outside of work, Shaelyn enjoys watching and playing sports, coaching softball, and spending time with friends and family.

Shealagh graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2022 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She attended the University of Central Florida where she earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Health Sciences. Her experience includes the treatment of diagnoses such as Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Developmental Delays, & Torticollis. She also has experience in providing Aquatic Therapy. Shealagh has always surrounded herself with experiences working with children. She is passionate about building relationships with families and caregivers to meet the unique needs of each child. She loves to finds ways to motivate and engage children during sessions. She is thrilled to be joining the Progressive Pediatric Therapy team to work cohesively with the team of dedicated professionals to provide quality care. Shealagh is a Florida resident born and raised in Coral Springs,  She loves to and spend her free time with her large extended family, exploring the outdoors and crafting.

Darlene Landy PTA

Darlene graduated from South University with a degree in Physical Therapy Assisting in 2012, and has been with Progressive Pediatric Therapy since 2013. She has worked in a variety of settings and with children with numerous different diagnoses. She treats clients in the home and in the clinic. She also has experience working in schools, PPEC, and outpatient orthopedic clinic. Darlene has continued her education using techniques in treatment strategies with a focus  in NDT, Myofascial Release, and Mary Massery Respiratory strategies. She has also continued her education in orthopedic conditions such as Torticollis and gait abnormalities. Darlene also holds a certification in Therapeutic Riding and education and experience in hippotherapy. Darlene enjoys working with children of all ages, and especially likes to use play to engage children to meet their PT goals.

Erin began her journey to become a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2018, after becoming inspired by the compassion and care provided to her father during his stay in a hospital. After completing some required courses to apply to Indian River State College’s PTA program, she was accepted, and a couple of years later graduated in 2021, becoming licensed shortly after. Her last internship was at a pediatric clinic and she absolutely loved the experience. From there on out, she knew she wanted to work with children and help them grow and flourish.

Erin has always had a passion for helping others. In addition to that, her creativity as an artist helps her figure out new and fun activities to incorporate into her sessions. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her two dogs. Some of her hobbies include playing video games, Dungeons and Dragons, doing creative writing, and creating art.

Shellie is a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant who graduated from South University in 2012.  She has practiced in various settings, such as outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities and home health care and has experience working with clients with a variety of diagnoses from mild delays to the medically fragile.  She has had extensive experience working with children, and was a Gymboree instructor and early childhood educator for 11 years helping children develop their gross and fine motor skills through play. Combining her experience with children and physical therapy has been a dream come true and it brings her great satisfaction to help see the children meet their goals.  Shellie is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish, and is also a Reiki Master/Teacher, which is an ancient Japanese healing modality that provides gentle healing and relaxation to the body and the mind. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her partner and his dog Cocoa, and family and friends.  She was once a singer in a band and on special occasions the band gets together to play and sing. Singing is one of her favorite past-times but she also has a love for cooking, movies, reading and spending time in nature.

Renata graduated as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Johnson College in Scranton, Pennsylvania in 2017. She began her career working with adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. Once she moved to Florida in 2019, she began to work with pediatric patients where she fell in love with everything about it. She has treated children from birth to 21 years old with neurological, genetic, and musculoskeletal conditions in a variety of settings such as home based, daycare, ABA centers, and clinics. Renata enjoys continuing her education by taking courses specific to pediatrics to help her patients as much as possible.
In her free time, she loves to spend time with her daughter, practice photography and go to the beach.
